On a Global Mission to Heal Hearts
John Hewlett: Entrepreneur and Miracle Maker
My mid-teen memories of a charismatic, larger-than-life 18 year old John, from his visits to our Melbourne Australia home, way back in 1970, are still vibrant. We had heard occasional reports of each other, but we had not seen or talked to each other, not even once during all those years, until very recently. It was Veritas Chronicles and John’s current focus on universal heart health that brought us back together after 54 years.
In 2007, John Hewlett narrowly survived complications from an emergency appendectomy. The surgery and subsequent traumas, including internal bleeding from a nicked vein, ultimately impacted his own genetic and emerging cardiovascular issues.
While hospitalized in critical condition, the doctors recommended heart bypass surgery despite the multiple complications, and he knew that it was time to search for natural alternatives.
This brush with death launched Hewlett on his quest to discover natural and effective ways to improve his cardiovascular and overall health. That led to a self-imposed mission to heal hearts everywhere.
But that is just the most recent part of an extraordinary, multifaceted career.
The details of John’s 50-year-entrepreneurial story, a report of the scientific studies behind his “miracle” solution, and a series of glimpses into the claims of the life-changes being proclaimed by users, are being investigated and prepared for publication.
The first definitive book detailing fifty years of entrepreneurship and multi-industry success is being written by Jason Hewlett, son of John (an amazing entertainer in his own right). Veritas Chronicles contributors, Ben Watson and Kristen Borchers have been granted first access to the transcripts.
Meanwhile, Veritas Chronicles commissioned its own investigation into the science of heart health and the role of nitric oxide. The report is encouraging. (Read the full report by clicking the download button below.)
